Construction & Management Technology
Designed to prepare the student for a career in the construction trades at whatever level the student wants to aspire.
Designed specifically to prepare the student for entry into apprenticeship programs in construction, the program provides introduction and hands-on experience in all aspects of the apprenticeship system, introduction to masonry, general building construction, electrical and mechanical technologies, painting and floor coverings, landscaping, first aid and hazmat safety and supplemental social and life skill type coursework.
Building Maintenance
Designed to teach all aspects of maintaining, repairing, and constructing components of a residence or apartment building. The Building Maintenance Program
exists to support those in the practice of maintenance and building management and to promote and develop the standards and levels of services delivered by the industry.
The program provides students with the basic information needed to safely use hand tools, power tools, and assorted building materials. This program also teaches students the skills and techniques used in carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical wiring, and other building trades, as related to building maintenance.
Construction & Remodeling Program
Designed to supplement the Construction Cluster.
It is a classroom-based program with minimal lab application except where required to demonstrate skill. The Program will provide basic instruction and certification in HAZMAT Handling, Asbestos Abatement and Confined Space Handling. Components and certifications can be applied to other Programs offered by NCCT. Specific certifications can be focused on by the student.
Property Maintenance & Management Program
