NCCT has one aim -- preparing YOU for a Career in Construction.
In the classroom you will study subjects related to construction. The math and reading you do will have practical applications for your later work. Inside the classroom you will actually be building things -- foundations, framing and roofs, running conduit, and installing air conditioners.
NCCT students in the past have built homes, parks, and other community projects. You will learn how to do all this under the direction of our Carpenter-Instructors who have years of experience in building and working with students. They have helped over 500 of our graduates get apprenticeships. They can do it for you, too.
Preparing for a career in construction involves more than
just sitting in a classroom.
If you have personal needs, we try to help. We offer free bus passes, GED preparation, substance abuse counseling, work shoes and tools. When funds are available, we also try to help with housing, dental and medical assistance, glasses, child care, and food.
